Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I updated the site(been busy with summer travelling and such), so here goes another try at reviving everything. I added a few CTF themes for
firmware version 4.01. So, from now on, all themes with "(401)" behind them will be for firmware version 4.01, and the rest will be for firmware version 3.90.
I hope to add more ctf themes, and ptf themes in the following days. So, please come back often and check on the site!

Publisher Konami has released the final packshot for the Limited Edition version of Metal Gear Solid 4. The LE, which will be sold exclusively through retailer GameStop, includes everything from the standard version plus an extra Blu-ray disc containing two ¡°making of¡± documentary videos. The documentaries will include interviews with famed Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Soundtrack CD.
Confirming earlier rumors, Konami has also revealed the official MSRP for the Limited Edition set: $84.99.
On a side note, we have implemented a new way for our users to browse through our themes. I hope you all like it. This also allows us to update more easily, therefore, more frequently. So check back often!

According to French-based site PSP Generation, homebrew developer CipherUpdate has released ¡°NPDecryptor,¡± a utility for decrypting PlayStation Store bought PSP games such as flOw and Beats. Once decrypted, the titles can be played on any PSP running custom firmware, regardless of whether or not the license data is tied to your PSP.

This is a psp homebrew to decrypt psp games bought from the Playstation Nework Store. Only those that are real psp games, not psone, can be decrypted with this tool. Only psp that can play the game can decrypt it. After decryption it can be played on whatever psp running a CFW. This homebrew has only been tested in 3.90, we don¡¯t know if can works on other CFW.

Locate EBOOT.PBP of the game to decrypt and change its name to NP.PBP. Copy EBOOT.PBP and npeg.prx from this release in that folder. Run NpegDecryptor. The game will be decrypted to the ISO folder with some name as ¡°NPEG-XXXXX.iso¡± ¡°NPUG-XXXXXX.iso¡±¡ After decryption, you can play the iso game normally as you would do with other iso, try various umd modes if one don¡¯t work.

For the homebrew scene, this is a monster of a release, and will most likely lead to even more piracy of games. Poor SONY, is all I can say.

Have custom firmware installed? Wondering why the System Information section on your PSP is displaying a bunch of odd numbers? April 2, or March 33 rather, marks the date of Team M33¡¯s first anniversary.
That said, don¡¯t worry, your handheld hasn¡¯t gone haywire or malfunctioned. This is just a small Easter egg from Dark_AleX himself in celebration of the team¡¯s first anniversary. Tomorrow your PSP will revert back to normal. Nifty, huh?

Added 10 more CTF themes today. They are on pages 9 and 10 in the CTF themes section.
Also, we are looking for more content to put on the site. If you want anything releated to PSP(tutorials, wallpapers, etc) to be put on the site, please send us an e-mail through our Contact page.

Version 3.1 of CXMB is now released. New with the release comes:
1. You can build .ctf file with a ptf that including wallpaper.
2. Readjusts the reboot delay after applying a theme to prevent some registry issue.
3. Add 3.80 capability.
I also added some CTF themes for you guys to download. For all the ptf theme users out there, I have an update coming for you guys soon. So wait just a little bit
longer. For now, go grab the CTF themes!

Since version 3.0 of the cxmb plugin just got released, I have updated the CTF page accordingly. The archive will list themes that were for
cxmb version 2.0, while the new links will be for version 3.0. Since the ctf files for 2.0 does not work with 3.0, please be careful and make sure you got the
right version when you download the files.
The new feature that was added into 3.0 is the ability to let users change themes under the Theme Settings option. Just simply put the ctf themes in the
PSP/THEME foler, enable cxmb.prx and you can change ctf themes just like you do ptf themes.
I've also added a few of the themes that are compatible with version 3.0. Go check them out!

Today marks the one month mark for ThemeSpot. We hope that we will be serving themes to you guys for a lot more time to come.
The update for today is a little different. Instead of themes, I added another section to the site. Now you can download the offifial firmware updates, as well as custom firmware updates.
You can navigate to their sites by going to "PSP DOWNLOSDS" in the navigation bar.

I was able to find a plugin today that allows you to use all the awsome custom xmb themes(themes that require you to change teh files in flash0) with ease. All you need is a prx file, and some folders in your memory stick.
A big factor that prevented me from switching to the custom xmbs was the fact that once everything is flashed, it takes a lot of effort to flash back again. But this is not a problem anymore, because with this plugin,
you can simply switch from the original SONY XMB to custom XMB by just enabling/disabling a plugin in your recovery menu. How cool is that!

First update of March, and its a big one, with 70+ themes added today. The update was so big that we had to open 2 new categories. This brings our total collection of themes to over 400. 1000 doesn't seem
too far away anymore.
Anyways, enjoy the new themes!

I hope you all had a nice Febuary. As we head into the month of March, you can see a lot more stuff being added to ThemeSpot.
Today, I added a total of 58 themes into 3 categories. You can have a look at them by cheking out the "Themes Added Today" section on the right. Today's update
brings our total number of themes to 333. There will be tons coming in the following month, so check back often!

Sony is set to release two new PlayStation 3 bundle packages later this year in Europe, the first of which is a ¡°Movie Pack,¡± bundling a 40GB PS3 and three select Blu-ray movies, Spider-Man 3, 300 and Casino Royal. The second bundle is geared towards the racing fan, packing in a 40GB PS3 along with a copy of the upcoming Gran Turismo 5: Prologue.
Both bundles include a SIXAXIS controller and are expected to retail this coming March at €399 (¡ê300).
